Tracking collars

Looking to buy a tracking collar/system for my beagle and was wondering if anyone had some experience/suggestions on this? I need it to work without cell service.

This is a security measure as she is good about not running trash and listens to commands pretty well. I am completely new to tracking collars and just looking for a little guidance.

Garmin TT 15. I have yet to look it up and don't know the price. Like I hinted to he's a heavy user so this might be a higher end model. Hell the lucky bastard is in Maine rabbit hunting right now.

Thanks! I looked them up and they are $750-$1000. A little out of my price range but it seems like a great set up that can take a lot of additional dogs. I am looking for something in the $500 and under range for a unit and collar.

If I had my way I would have 3 other hounds and a system like that TT15... But my wife is stuck on this whole "paying the electric bill and feeding the kids" thing.

I know what you mean they never let us have any fun. I'll ask him if he has a cheaper model that he can recommend. If your not in a hurry I wonder if Craigslist or anything like might have some good ones for cheap.
