Whoops!"Officers detected an odor of marihuana" - yeah right.
Whoops!
"arrested Jordan T. Pratt, age 21 of Ithaca, NY for the felonies of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree (one count for the possession and a second count for intent to sell)"
Guess you're probably right. It was there in a large enough quantity to trigger the felony change and packaged for sale, but NO WAY the cop smelled it!
Makes sense. You're right.
I got some of the real stuff last night! PEEUUUi have found this works the best in the car/truck for a cover scent

Just because you can't smell it doesn't mean everyone else can't.If they were smoking while driving, it’s kind of on their own dumb asses.
If the weed was stowed half decently, the “smell” thing sounds a bit suspicious. Back when I was a pothead, allegedly, a QP might smell up a drawer after a day or two, but not a car. It was allegedly kept in a couple of ziplocs.

I can smell it a mile away. When you do it you lose the ability to detect it. Your brain blocks out the smell.Maybe? I would expect coming home after work is when I’d detect the skunk, and I never could. But then again, that was a pretty nice 20x20 bedroom, not a car. I could be wrong on this, but I’ve been asked to be searched on less (and that was well after my alleged weed days).
