Except the drug charges are for Percocet and Oxy. Not marihuana. Mabkes sense that you're right and it was not a case of cops pulling over a driver on a traffic stop and "smelling" pot so they could search.

If the weed was stowed half decently, the “smell” thing sounds a bit suspicious. Back when I was a pothead, allegedly, a QP might smell up a drawer after a day or two, but not a car. It was allegedly kept in a couple of ziplocs.

Maybe? I would expect coming home after work is when I’d detect the skunk, and I never could. But then again, that was a pretty nice 20x20 bedroom, not a car. I could be wrong on this, but I’ve been asked to be searched on less (and that was well after my alleged weed days).
I can smell it a mile away. When you do it you lose the ability to detect it. Your brain blocks out the smell.
