We'll see how long it lasts. Trump may also be attempting to play it smart here. Too much counter establishment too soon could prove a problem. But if he plays it right and is always ultimately the one in control, it may get things done and start the wheels of change. Change isn't going to happen over night.

I would have preferred an outsider but he can't have all the outsiders. There will be some people that are Insiders of course.
Thanks for making my brain work - perhaps you're right - mollify some of the "establishment" Republicans and, thus, dodge a sell-out by the Electoral College. After you're sworn in flush them with the rest of the swamp.

As much as we'd all like to see a complete fresh start with all anti-establishment people, he is going to have to include them somehow if any of this is going to work. Unfortunately it's not like he can just rip the proverbial band aid off the gaping wound that is our nation. That's liable to kill us at this point. The same goes for bringing a starving person back from the brink. You can't just feed him Thanksgiving dinner and call it a day. You need to nurse him back to health gradually.
I hated Hillary to death but didn't like Trump any better except for the fact I thought he would appoint more conservative justices to the bench, which Hillary wouldnt. What I cant believe is that some of you think he will be any better then the rest. This guy has more shady dealings than any normal person. He will be just as much as a pompous asshole as any other political hack. He's not flushing anybody............

Chief of staff needs to have those inside connections. Priebus is a great choice in my opinion. Trump needs the Congress to get his agenda through and Reince is just the guy. Keeping Bannon close is perfect to run his offense. Excellent moves Mr President! I can actually feel America getting great again.

Just about everyone has been wrong on all of his moves since declaring his run. Although he wasn't my first choice, I am going to trust him until he proves me wrong.
Excellent point Doc. I can remember the rather heated threads about Trump. He can't be predicted easily, IMHO.
Frankly, if he appoints SCROTUM justices that will give a strict interpretation to ALL of the Constitution, then I'll be happy.

I think Priebus worked his ass off to get Trump elected and is a smart guy. He basically had to fight his own party's establishment and whip them into line until even Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio supported Trump. Hats off to him.
