The good in all of this is:
NATO, didn't like President Trump and wanted a demonrat.
Now they are all crying that the U.S. isn't being the super power to save the world.
The next President will have major leverage on the world stage, if they come out as a badass . Now who is up to that is an other question.

The USA is a paper tiger, as mentioned in that article. It’s because our civilian leadership is grossly incompetent.

China wants to build a road through Afghanistan to strip their resources. China does not value human life so could not care less what the Taliban does, just as long as it “serves chinas interests”.

China knows we won’t do shit for Taiwan.

Taliban says going past aug 31 is a “red line”.

So, biden, be a good boy and make sure it’s done a week from now.

I also had an opinion last week about the Taliban impacting operations, which was optimistic. The “allied” forces are so cornered there that the Taliban could certainly decide to stop operations with a few mortar rounds to the runway, and with thousands of civilians at the gates, American Air Force won’t be able to do much if the Taliban decides to just start lobbing shells in from the civilian structures around it.
