Trump probably *could* have gotten us out by May 1st and still not had this shit show.


It's not the timeline that matters. I'm convinced Biden could have waited till 2023 and it still would have turned into a disaster.

Sure, the Afghan soldiers had it worse than the American soldiers. But they had it far better than their Taliban opponents.


The difference is that the Taliban were not hamstrung by PC bullshit.

If you wanted to win, the the people needed to be terrified of being caught supporting the Taliban. Not terrified of being caught *not* supporting them.

That is the difference. The only difference that matters.

I'm convinced it would have been a disaster no matter who did it. What we could have done a LOT better was getting out diplomats and civis before the military. The country itself? The only think keeping the Taliban from not taking control of the country was the American military presence.

You're correct.

My point was that Trump would have had all the support personnel out earlier, and the last to leave would have been military flown out from Baghram.

The Taliban would also have been on notice than any attempt to hinder the process would have been met with wrath and fury. They would have believed that from Trump, but they know the only thing they need to worry about from Biden is a strongly worded address read a week later from a teleprompter.

President Biden has yet to speak with his foreign counterparts since the Taliban took the Afghanistan capital of Kabul, national security adviser Jake Sullivan said Tuesday, as the White House faces questions from some allies about the repercussions of its withdrawal from the country.

As we reported earlier, the Biden team is saying that there may be up to 10,000 Americans who still need to be rescued from Afghanistan. I wrote previously about how they were begging people like Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) for help because our government wasn’t responding and had just told them to shelter in place and fill out a form.



But it may be even worse than that, according to Bush Assistant Secretary of State Robert Charles. According to Charles, he said there was a tally and it was between 15,000 and 40,000 people still waiting to be told when they’ll be saved.


‘There’s a document in the embassy called the F-77. I am told the F-77 of Afghanistan indicates there are 15,000 potentially, upwards of 40,000 Americans scattered around Afghanistan right now.

So the taliban have surrounded the airport. There are still 5,000-15,000 Americans that need to be evacuated. The taliban state all Americans have to be out by September 11th. The American government has told its citizens it can't guarantee safe travel to the airport. Yes, this shit show can easily get worse. The afghan civilians that worked as interpreters have no chance of getting out and it's not a given all the Americans will get out.

Always have, and always will, as long as ANY member of the Uniparty remains in government.

When this scum "rules" the fUSA, it's for their own benefit, not to provide a stable environment foe the average Joe and Jane to have a "normal" life.

It's been this way for years, and although I'd like to believe the "average" person might realize this and do something about it, I know that's delusional.

This is why EVERY American flag in this house has been respectfully retired to the VFW and my magnetic Vietnam Veteran and USAF car stickers are in the local land fill.
