The President cannot arrest anyone. If people in the state government want to impeach the governor they can, or if he commits a federal crime the DOJ can go after him, but the President cannot.
That is categorically and factually incorrect!
The 2012 NDAA gave explicit authority to the POTUS to seize and hold, without warrant, process or notification, anyone deemed a threat to the United States. This unprecedented expansion of Presidential Powers included the ability to seize U.S. citizens on U.S. soil... The POS Harvard Constitutional Scholar signed the thing into law after the stroke of midnight to little fanfare then by the press. Only months later was the fine print exposed and caused a bit of an uproar. Some provisions have been scaled back, but the damage is done. The same NDAA for the first time centralized almost all acronym agencies under the command of the DOHS, and who has direct control over that!?
So yes, the POTUS can have person's deemed to be a threat wisked off the street by their whim. Just sayin... Is it, or has it been done? IDK, you tell me, lol
