Hochul needs to tell the entire truth....New York refuses along with Minnesota, Illinois, California, Colorado, Ohio and Maine to provide audit records proving that only American citizens receive federal funding for certain federal benefits such as child care, Medicaid etc. Its been federal law for years that undocumented immigrants are simply not eligible for certain programs that are designed for American citizens. Allow the audits and there would be absolutely no delay in funding. With the massive fraud seen that none of us can deny its a simple ask to prove these states are following federal law.

The classic example of this ass-fuckery is Chris Christi shutting down Washington bridge to pay back Fort Lee mayor for not supporting him. People stood in traffic for hours and died in ambulances, republican and democrats.

I voted for Trump three times. I don't see any SCOTUS relief on NY draconian gun laws. Just empty promises. Foreign policy is still focused on regime changes and promotion of conflicts around the world. Marco Rubio with his banana republic nostalgia is in charge of foreign policy. Lindsey Graham is an adviser. This is not what was promised.

All these programs have been running without the required checks and balances, reporting, and audits. Last January when the Feds said they would be requiring….THE REQUIREMENTS (Checking on job seeking status, ability to work, certification to receive) my county was quoted as saying “Well, if we have to do that we’ll need to hire someone…."

CA can't account for $24 billion in homeless funding. The state legislature has unanimously passed bipartisan legislation to implement audit and transparency into this, twice now, and both times it was vetoed at Newsom's desk.

….assuming internal accounting and audits are being done at action level on up. The main issue is….they are not. Even though required. THIS is the main action point. Several states and cities CANNOT produce any accounting or audit trail. FEW can provide vetted processes. Our money evaporated.
If Federal laws are being broken, there are basis for criminal prosecution and it doesn't require the use of special forces and aircraft carriers.
