This never works out well for us in the long run. Though I am very sympathetic to the Kurds, crazy as they are and despite some of the messed up stuff they do. They whole world has turned its back on them and the Kurds don't seem to care, they just go on fighting no matter the consequences. I admire that mad dog, devil may care sensibility.

The Kurds are more normal than most in that region, it is not their fault that after the Ottoman Empire fell the European Allies in Paris decided to cut-up the middle east regions like a birthday cake with little regard to tribes, ethnicity, and reality.

Thats why, whatever they do, they have my great respect.
As messed up as the middle East is, Israel and the Kurds are probably the only 2 groups that are capable of living civilized lives and they deserve the right to defend themselves against savages.
I would rather arm the Kurds and let them fight ISIS than to risk thousands of americans to do so instead. We could use a rational ally there.

You are correct but I say Turkey can go scrub balls, yes I get it we have installations there, they are in NATO, they also have helped de-stablize Syria and ruin a once-great country.
Damn Mid-East is like a Jenga game, help the Sunni and you offend other Sunni's and also offend the Shiite, and the Jews; help the Jews and offend the Sunni and Shiite; help the Shiite and be hated by Jews and the Sunni, nobody is happy.
Darth you do bring up a good point, the only way to offend nobody, is help nobody and let them sort it out.
