I guarantee he got more votes than he lost by handling, and offering to buy, that pistol.

It’s people who’s would have voted for him in the end anyway. He picked up people that were on the fence about Trump/DeSantis/or Ramaswami(sp)? He didn’t pick up the suburban mom, minority, or 20 something that he needs to win from this.
Remember all this people he needs to pick up are more likely to hear that he broke the law again than that he didn’t because of the court case referenced here. In fact I forgot about that case myself. It’s all optics and who hears what. The people pushing he broke the law must know of this case and yet they kept pushing this so what does that tell you? They aren’t stupid. We may say they are stupid but they know what they are doing. Hochul knew enough to back off banning gas appliances before the election so they aren’t dumb and know what they can get away with.

He had huge increases with minorities, Hispanics, etc.. He could pay for every suburban moms kid to go to college and they still wouldn't vote for him. Doesn't matter. He had the votes irregardless.
