Trump's counter to the 1619 project. Basically it looks like he's trying to counter the divisive racial education being promoted in schools.
I did take a few classes geared towards graduate school at some point and going into teaching social studies. I witnessed first hand how they tried to push this very racial narrative to prospective teachers years ago. It was one of the reasons I decided against that path in life, and I'm so glad I didn't go that way.

“This radicalized view of American history lacks perspective, obscures virtues, twists motives, ignores or distorts facts, and magnifies flaws, resulting in the truth being concealed and history disfigured,” the order states. “Failing to identify, challenge, and correct this distorted perspective could fray and ultimately erase the bonds that knit our country and culture together.”
