My research indicates (big surprise) that they took things out of context and twisted them.

His actual statement was to vote by mail, *and* go in person to verify that your vote was counted and *if it wasn't* then vote in person.

This has the same feel as the "very fine people on both sides" lie that they keep dragging out.

He suggested nothing illegal, but very strongly highlighted the dangers of this vote by mail scheme.

If vote by mail is secure, then his suggestion will cause no harm and result in no crime. It is perfectly legal to check to see if your mail in vote was counted.

If vote by mail is as full of holes as many suggest, then maybe it will even out the holes so they don’t all benefit Biden.

Best case, a lot of people on the right say they're going to do it, and it scares the shit out of the Democrats into eliminating the vote by mail nonsense, because they *know* the system is full of holes, and they *know* their voters aren’t motivated enough to follow up to "check to see if their vote was counted".

I just read an article on this. Trump said if you vote by mail in PA there is a tracker. Use the tracker and if it’s not received by Election Day go vote in person so your vote gets counted. If your mail in ballot is not received by 8pm on Election Day it won’t be counted. That’s what he said.
