I see no reason to allow the mentally ill to serve our country. Just sad that many who do serve come back mentally ill from the hell they experience in war. Gods bless our military.

Thank you for making my point. Extraordinarily low deployment capability and high medical costs answer both these issues. If someone isn't eligible for military service because they are morbidly obese, or cancer ridden, why would or should we bend the requirements because someone is unsure of their sexual orientation, and the taxpayers (presumably you and definitely me) have to pay well above and beyond what a normal recruit would cost us? Note I use the word normal deliberately, as there are still statistical norms within society, including mental health norms, that the left may disapprove of, but that still exist, as any truly objective person could ascertain.
EDT: and if they have this overriding urge to serve, then Habitat for Humanity, the United Way, the Peace Corp, and Doctors without Borders are all looking for people.

This is good. They are in fact mentally incapable of facing the truth of what they are. They are no good in the Military. They are a serious danger to themselves, other Soldiers around them and most important; unit cohesion.

When you join the military, They shave your head, give you uniforms , You eat the same things, Indoctrinate you to bury your individuality that you as a single individual are not important. You are just a piece of the whole .Its necessary for the function of the organization. Everybody is expendable, and nobody is special. People like this are morale killers.
You send these things into a combat zone and your going to have problems. SGT Rock and his NCOS return from the field where they are losing people on every patrol, They lost two guys this morning , they wander into the chow hall filthy and exhausted, and see Two Nancy boys, clean uniforms , stuffing their face with Scrambled eggs , Overhearing them complain about how bad the hot chow is. and when they are going to get back to the states.
Due to their medical condition they cannot be sent out . Just how fucking furious do you think SGT Rock and his NCOS are going to be? The soldiers in the chow hall don't say anything but glance at the Platoon SGT and keep eating. These incompetent useless pieces of shit, will be on permanent latrine duty , they will be digging trenches by hand someplace . The are useless eaters and they will be scorned every minute they are in the presence of real soldiers. And when they return they will receive the same Veteran status and benefits of those who actually served.
They don't belong there any more than they belong in the NFL or NBA. If you cant qualify and do the job you cant play . They belong in a mental ward not in a combat unit.

Transgender is most certainly a mental illness. If I identified as a dump truck, I’d be looked at as ill so why not the trans crowd. Besides that, considering how small of a segment of the population trans people are, they sure get a bunch of attention. They are a statisticaly insignificant group.

Case study, nope. I served with a few of these GD freaks and never saw a single one deploy. Ever. Yeah, there may be a few here and there, but the MAJORITY of them cite medical issues and reasons not to deploy.
As of late, a number one task for service members to do is deploy to deploy to horrible places, they almost always find a way to get out of it.
They destroy unit cohesion, they are not part of the team. They are sick people and I do not want them defending next to or around me.
They are not capable of doing the entire job!
Again, I have seen this many times in person. I do not need case studies. I have had them assigned to me while a Platoon SGT, they are not the same as other Soldiers. They are not capable. This has nothing to do with my disdain of these freaks, this is first hand knowledge.
