President Trump seemed to open the door, slightly, to consideration of gun-control legislation Tuesday morning, but his record as a candidate and as president suggest it is very unlikely.
When asked on Tuesday morning whether the mass shooting in Las Vegas would prompt new gun legislation, Trump said, “We’ll be talking about gun laws as time goes on.”

Am I worried? Not really, I don't think he'll do much to the guns. Just wanted to show you guys this article and want to know your thoughts

I voted for the guy and still support him but a lil unsure on his true 2A stance.

He WAS a democrat that supported the AWB. FACT.

He is now serving his first term. Presidents tend to deal more damage on their second term if re-elected.

Very possible Darth. For now i will give Trump the benefit of the doubt.

He very well could come out with his own gun control plan to prevent the Democrats from claiming victory. Only a handful of legislators (Rand Paul, Tom Cotton) would oppose it.

Or he could be cornered into signing it, especially if a second mass shooting happens and the overwhelming public sentiment is to do something, anything, even though it will always be symbolic rather than effective.

Now if people would play up the defense use of firearms - like at the Antitoch church shooting that got scant coverage in the media - and maybe another spectacular hero saved the say with their concealed carry... then we'd have some play. But the good guys don't play theater or take advantage of tragedies quite the way Democrats do.
