Months ago Before Risky Chrisky was banned on YouTube he repeatedly suggested that they would either prevent the orange man from running, prevent you from voting or not have an election.
That prediction is still on a track.

He chose not to testify, he wasn't prevented from doing so by the court. His lawyer probably told him not to, which is pretty standard. The accused doesn't usually testify - it's almost always not in their interest and also exposes them to cross ex.

If he is put in jail the secret service will have to go with him. They wont off him in jail, if it comes to killing him they will get an "Oswald" in a MAGA hat to do it on the campaign trail, who will then be beaten to death on the spot by true MAGA supporters. They know damned well that if he is convicted it will be overturned on appeal, they have actually insured that with all the bullshit they pulled during the trial. How in the fuck can a judge say they dont need a unanimous verdict to convict? They just want a conviction that will be there at election time so Biden has some dirt to throw at him. They are clutching at straws. If they put him in jail they will insure he is elected. I dont think they will get anything but a hung jury with the way the DA summed up and the convoluted charge the judge gave the jury.

In the 30 yrs that I worked in that very court house, I never saw a defendant testify, I am sure it happened, but it is extremely rare.

This will be swiftly overturned on appeal. There is no way in hell this jury deliberated at all. No way they could have discussed all that evidence and sorted out the 5 hr summation by the DA and that convoluted charge the judge gave. Not to mention all the improper procedures the judge followed throughout the trial.

Not necessarily. Once the appeal is filed, I assume the defense already has it prepared, it can be fast tracked, which, if the appellate division wants to try to save the integrity of the system they will do. All depends on how deep the corruption is in the court system.
I expect to see a slew of States start banning him from the ballots. I'm surprised heil whorecul hasn't already had it drafted for her signature.
In the last 4 years they have managed to remove any legitimacy for elections, and now they've shown, quite publicly, there is no actual justice. Couple that with the suppression of free speech this admin has been pushing and you're left with only one solution.
Sounds like things are going to get VERY sporty VERY quickly.
