I am still leery that O'Basturd is not done trying to screw this country over, even though he has only 24 days left in office. Aside from the judge issues, I think he is likely to try and do a mass pardon of so called Dreamers too...

In particular, I really hope that the Republicans aren't stupid (either by accident, or even secretly, on purpose in the case of some RINO's like Ryan and McConnell). My fear is that they will somehow neglect to keep the House and Senate "in session" with Pro Forma sessions every few days, and then O'Basturd puts his liberal nominee (Garland?) on the SCOTUS as a recess appointment.

As I understand it, even if someone were put on SCOTUS as a recess appointment, with the position being a lifetime appointment, then they would be there and there would be nothing much we could do about it, - and the Senate would have no say in the matter at all! I hope to hell I am wrong about this. I seem to recall that there was such a case in our history. Anybody else know if that actually happened?

Very delicate situation, need to make sure judges are constitutionalists who check thier beliefs at the door, it's not just a progressive liberal problem. It's a problem with anyone taking the seat. Conservatives like to widdle alway at rights too. The Patriot Act for example one of the most open ended and disturbing pieces of legislation ever passed and implimented signed into law by a Republicain and supported piecemeal by what ever political party needs to use it too achieve there goals.
