Trump's plan
If Republicans and Donald Trump want to have any chance in upcoming elections they're going to have to keep pumping dollars into the economy. Something they really, really hate to do. The idea of giving money to the American people makes a fingernails grinding on a blackboard sound to Republicans. And you know damn well Dems are going to hold their feet to the fire, LMAO!
TRUMPS genius plan, is force the economy open so that by fall you have tens of thousands of Americans dying weekly and the economy will still be in the toilet, ha ha ha ha, sounds like another Trump bankruptcy folks

So please share what do you think they should do? Keep printing money which will make it even more worthless and push the country further into debt while the population hides in their homes hoping for a vaccine that may never happen? It we wait any longer there will be nothing to restart. More people will die of starvation than this virus ever could have killed.

I think you should go read some more. And i don't mean huffingtonpost. Your summer reading list includes:

- study of finance theory
- study of history, particularly political
- study of human psychology; what motivates people, how they are influenced, etc. in particular

Please report back in July as there will be an exam that counts for 70% of your final grade.

WE don't know that right, nobody does?
however this goes it cannot be predicted, nobody can predict all the plays because these are unprecedented circumstances. But we know the "alternative" policies for sure do not work because the regions adopting them are the ones that had the biggest economic problems even before the covid happened. For example NY state and California that are both bankrupt states where people were leaving the states for greener pastures.
These are facts not opinions.

Trump's plan might not be good but what is the alternative? Even if one doesn't like Trump choosing him right now is like choosing
between the flu, and stage4 cancer that is, in deed, a very sad situation. But what disease do you prefer?

Socialism will never work in the USA. in fact it doesn't work anywhere other than small very, very well organized and very civilized countries like Norway or Sweden and they have also great resources and industry so their models cannot be transplanted and scaled. Everywhere else failed.

My prediction. Republicons pump more money to the people, because not doing so is political suicide, and Democrats will highlight this to make sure.
So T-RUMP and Republicans do another stimulus and it does little more than what the last one did(watch market, fed money is about to lose any positive effect it's had on the economy). I see huge market plunge in a week or two.
We still have 6 months to election and we would probably need another 3 massive stimulus packages to keep our economy from vaporizing, and there's no way America can print that much cash.
So the last and final rabbit Agent Orange has left to pull out of his hat and that is banking on a huge, massive surge in the economy.
That surge will not happen. Covid will guarantee that. No matter what they do to get people back to work your going to have large segments of our workforce that will simply not out of fear. Like anyone over the age of 50. Anyone any age with diabetes, hypertension, asthma and a host of other diseases related to our unhealthy fat society.
Pretty much looking like Mango the Con man is going to be a one term disaster president.

You just said we need three more stimulus packages to keep our economy from vaporizing, but that there is no way America can print that much cash.

So are you saying we should spend this money despite it not doing anything, or not? Please show your work.

I'm no good in these kinds of discussions. Part of me is hoping for a total systems failure.

The US as we know it, is doomed. Just a matter of time of when complete failure occurs.

This is not a right thing or a left thing. All sides and all people's allowed our destruction. There is no real way to fix so many decades of unworthy projects, experiments and financial blunders.

Our foundation is broken beyond repair. Complete overhaul or rebuild is all that can save this once great Country.

What is the plan when China is broke and they say hey you owe us trillions of dollars. What will happen when we say yeah we don’t have your money sorry China. They will say oh ok no problem USA here’s more money for your socialist experiment?
You can’t be serious. Just passing out enough money so people don’t need to return to work is not the answer.
Smartly opening certain jobs and moving forward is the way to do it. Why can’t people work now in certain jobs. Say I paint a house alone or with 2 other guys. If we stay away why can’t we do that? Oh let me remind you that you can golf at state and county run golf courses as if those are essential.
This is a power, money, and election grab bottom line.
If you are at high risk that’s fine work from home or stay home I get it but there is no reason for the majority of Americans to sit around with their thumb up their asses and get thousands of dollars per month from the government unless it’s meant to have people depend on the government period.

I've said it before, we need to stop interfering with Darwin/evolution and let natural selection take it's course. Zoo's are an environment that artificially prop up to extend the lives of animals at the same time the animals are bored, unhappy and can no longer fend for themselves. The animals learn to do tricks for their food. Big cities are a lot like that. If you vote for the right candidate you get your daily ration, free housing, but deep down you are unhappy and can not fend for yourself. Animal welfare, people welfare; same difference.
