I have a thought that confiscation of Firearms without compensation may be an "excessive" fine.

I have no problem with them seizing drug dealers property. All of it. Drugs are ruining this country. Drugs and gangs are the problem and cause us gun owners all the headaches. Drugs and gangs are the cause of the majority of crime and murders.

The law says its a $10k fine, not a $40k fine.

Either we are a nation of laws or we are not.

So not official yet but from the article it sounds like Gorsuch (Trump) and Breyer (Clinton) are in favor and Roberts does the usual dickhead thing. I'll be interested to see how this ends up.
