Carlson reiterated that politicians are supporting “warrantless spying” on American citizens because “they’re threatened.”
“People don’t say that because they’re worried about being punished,” Carlson said. “They’re worried about someone putting kiddie porn on their computer. Members of Congress are terrified of the intel agencies. I’m not guessing at that. They’ve told me that — including people on the intel committee, including people who run the intel committee.”

The former Fox News host told Rogan that lawmakers have personally told him they fear retaliation from the intelligence community if they oppose reauthorizing Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA).

Meh. Let’s say yiu are a very popular opponent of them. Let’s say they just needed you gone because your message reaches too many. It would be very smple for a 3 letter agency to remotely download something wicked on your computer, then use a warrantless search to “find the evidence” and you are gone just like that. And who’s gonna defend you? Who will stand in your corner with those types of charges against you? Nobody. You have been made an instant pariah.

Half don't have to worry about being "framed" only convicted, and yes, I've no doubt that a nefariously controlled Agency could have vile footage loaded onto someone's computer without their knowledge or consent...do you really think people download computer viruses deliberately?

They wouldn't even need a warrantless search.

They would just post some of the vile crap on a message board that's "on their radar" from your IP, then their "ongoing investigation" would get a warrant based on that.

First you would know about any of it is when the SWAT team shoots your dog.
