She's been slowly "evolving" I think she's coming around to being more pro gun.
I think she's become more pro gun the more I hear her talk. Maybe she's starting to gain wisdom as she gains experience. She doesn't seem like a rigid idealogue that cares about party and only party. She might genuinely have her own moral compass and has reconsidered some previously held beliefs. Think about it she was in the dems party that's who she surrounded herself with that's who she was supposed to align with. She's openly admitted she thinks they've gone crazy maybe she's re considering what she thought and making her own independent opinions. I dunno. It's possible
Regardless, she seems far more into guns now than 90% of republicans are.

I think she adopted the Democrat party philosophy on guns by default.
But now that she is thinking about it on her own she's evolving to a more reasonable approach.
Also, she sees that the Democrat party philosophy on a lot of things is bat shit crazy, so it makes her question the rest of what she took for granted from them too.
That's how you wake up susceptible dems. You get them to recognize how insane one policy is, then lead them to another with "now that you realize how insane they can be, think about this one..."
That first "holy shit, that's insane" is the crack you can exploit to get them to recognize the rest of the flaws.
Your terms are acceptable, and I am willing to "take one for the team".
Realistically, I hope she has really come to see the light, but after 2013 I'm not sure I will never be able to trust a Dem again.

Until early in 2022, Tulsi Gabbard was a WEF (World Economic Forum) "Young Global Leader". She has spoken out recently about Klaus Schwab's 'totalitarian dream'. There are scores of Young Global Leaders in several governments around the world so I doubt that *if* she sincerely renounced her faith in the WEF, that the WEF will be hurting.

No, she is absolutely not Reagan. Not even close.
But, she is following the same path.
I'm not saying I'd vote for her, but I can at least acknowledge that she is rational and honest, even if she is wrong.
She may come around farther and stop being wrong, there is hope.
And depending on who her opponent was, I might vote for her. If she was running against Romney, or Chris Christy or something I could see that happening.

For me that is a single biggest metric to judge any politician by because it paints a picture of how they view freedom in general. While I do weigh other factors, that is by and far the biggest consideration for me.

Tulsi has held terrible positions in the past, but she appears genuinely open to change if presented with good evidence and a strong argument.
She only appears to be better than the rest of the Democrat party because that's such a low bar to reach.
But, it is progress to see her recognize the insanity, so that's worth celebrating.
It's like an alcoholic celebrating their first 72 hours sober. For normal people that's just expected, but for a recovering addict it's a huge milestone.
