NEWBURGH – Two men sustained gunshot wounds early Sunday morning in the area of the Newburgh-Beacon Ferry parking lot and Newburgh City Police are investigating.
One victim was dropped off at Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh at around 2:20 a.m. He was uncooperative with investigators.
At about 3:17 a.m., Town of Wallkill Police called Newburgh officers to say another man had come to Orange Regional Medical Center in Wallkill saying another victim of a shooting was there.
He, too, was uncooperative with police, but police determined both shootings occurred on the Newburgh waterfront.
