Sad part is, since 2017 Poughkeepsie and Newburgh don't make most of NY's worst 10 hell hole lists. Niagra Falls, Buffalo, Rochester, Binghamton and Johnson City.... helping prop up Hudson Valley property values.

Newburgh and Poughkeepsie aren't even that bad. I drive, eat at restaurants, and shop through both towns quite a bit. The rif raf don't even leave their 5 block radiuses because they don't even have cars. The majority of people you see in both towns are white people spending their hard earned money. And the suburbs of both towns are the same. Nothing but American flags and white picket fences and new cars.
Quite honestly, the further you go up North the crappier and older the cars look. You see more poverty up North.
