That is always a possibility although improbable...The residents of New York State has wanted to divorce itself from New York City for quite some time as each thinks itself "supporting" the other, and while many would thrill in the premise of a "New Amsterdam" about the only way that's going to happen is recovery from some sort of Biblical Disaster of Epic proportion.
