I've recently started to ignore a few. Only the most extreme cases of absolute jackasses. It makes the overall experience much nicer. Why try to educate those who are unwilling to accept the help? I'm talking about the ones who could be standing on the grass beside you and argue about what color the grass is. Fuck em.

I am going to have to disagree with you on this one friend as far as the "It's funny" part. I mentioned before on here how I watched my dad go through dementia and it was one of the saddest things I can remember in my life. I wish that on nobody. As far as the fucked thing if he wins, totally agree.

I wish him a horrible next few years. He deserves the pain and the horrible feelings that he is facing. He is filled with hate, greed and envy and is using the American people and our voting Rights for his personal gain.

I understand your sentiments, really I do. You know I am not one to hold back my anger for traitorous scumbags. I also unfortunately had the experience of having my dad lunge at me with a knife and ask me how he knows I'm his son the last time I saw him. Going through that experience has made me have a different perspective than many on that situation.

Lucky? Nope. You missed out on a lot with him. Those that are lucky are those that have their dad at their kids wedding, live to see the birth of their great grandchild and age normally with a quality of life. I lost my mom in 1999 at 64 from ovarian cancer. She knew my wife was pregnant with our 2nd but never got a chance to meet him. Every time my sons have had a great accomplishment or thing happen I want to share it with family but can't. Watching my dad go from dementia was much harder than watching my mom die. It is a very cruel illness.
That is why i put the ? in there. I know exactly what you mean. Definitely not worded as well as I could have. I miss him all of the time. He died at 56 back in 2000. He treated his body in a very poor way.

We lost my MIL at 69 to adrenal gland cancer 9 years ago too. These illnesses and loses tore us apart. When my MIL passed I told my boys that one of the reasons mom and I work so hard with diet, exercise and all of the other things we do for health in our life is not only so we can enjoy life with them but also so they hopefully won't have to deal with the stuff with us as we age that we had to deal with with our parents. They get it and take care of themselves better than most based on the examples we give them.

I feel like we going through that at a national level.
One of our major political parties is coming at the country with dangerous weapons, they're borderline suicidal and want to take the rest of us with them.
My wifes grandpa went through this real rough. He went from a nice guy to an absolute bastard.
We had some friends stay at our house so we could go live in an apartment on her grandpas property so he could stay there as long as possible. He was 91 years old.
Pretty nice of us huh? We halted our lives to help the old fella.
Well, he thought I was trying to steal his property.....the exact opposite of what I was doing. Over a 6 month period he punched me in the face, he threatened to shoot me, he smashed our air conditioner out of the window, he threw rocks through the windows.....of his own property, then the final straw was when he hit our 15 pound Chihuahua/Corgi with a shovel.
My temper got the best of me and I ran up to him, got in his face and told him if he so much as moved I was going to end his life. He didnt even remember hitting the dog 6 seconds prior....I saw it in his face.
That day I called elder care and they assessed him and said he could not live alone anymore. He attacked the elder care worker who called the police. They took him into custody but no charges. He was sent to a nursing home.....he died 4 months latlateh
God bless. My dad died many years ago I think 33 as of a couple days ago. My boy was born many years later but partially shared his name. I wanted my boy to be his own but still share some roots. I wish with all my heart my boy could meet his grandfather. All we can do is instill the decency and integrity of generations gone by and hope for the best.
