This is my shocked face . Lots of people who work for the government feel this way. Fortunately lots of people who work for the government feel the opposite way. If you look at every political hot button issue ( immigration, gun control, education, welfare, vaccines, drugs, abortion, and the list goes on) there are employees in government who have diametrically opposing views on the subject. Nothing new here.
Police chiefs and generals most of them advocate taking firearms from citizens because they believe they and their people will be allowed to be the only ones with guns when it is all said and done.
history has proven that isn’t the case but nobody reads history anymore. Hitler took out his opposition in the military and replaced them with fanatics who were loyal to him. Lots of countries have unarmed police walking the beat and patrolling the streets. We saw how well that worked out in France a few years ago.
