I blame the jab.
I am saying that calling this a random attack is like saying the guy in Butler, PA was aiming for the crowd.Technically the guy was targeted. He lined up his sights and everything.
If you are referring to specifically shooting that particular person; I'd tell you my opinion, but it's out of network so we are going to need an authorization for that.
Talking to whom is the million dollar question. He was scoping it out earlier though. There was video of him talking on the phone on the way.
He probably noticed a dozen of them. What was he going to do about it ?And he didnt notice the camera?
I dont know, pick a different spot?He probably noticed a dozen of them. What was he going to do about it ?
I just noticed in the video, several large suv's parked. Probably other vips security, did not notice one them do anything other them start heading out of dodge.Well orchestrated, knowledgeable, capable.
Used a suppressor, and although the news media said it jammed, they just don't know what happens with cycling with a suppressor. But he cleared the low energy (subsonic) rounds and continued firing, approaching the target, ignoring others like the woman with there that takes off...
Yeah, that was done with prejudice!
Oh boy, you can now forget EVER getting suppressors approved for NY, lol.
What the hell is a CEO doing walking alone anyways? And the family said there were threats! No carry? No bullet resistant clothing at least? Come on... Multi-million salary and walking without a care after getting threats? Ummmm... Ok
Around $70-90k per year for an armed driver... Couple grand for some BP stuff. They do have overcoats and sport jackets too, up to Level IIIa...
Anyways, spilt milk! RIP
If he was smart he’d have dumped it in a sewer to destroy DNA.I was reading the guy dumped the phone he had immediately. This is definitely calculated. He knew they'd track him via the towers, so he dumped the burner immediately, got on a bike and then dumped the bike.
No way this is random.
Im with you, a professional would have also eliminated ammo that would cause multiple malfunctions. This person didnt test the ammo through the supressed handgun before the attack. My money is more on revenge hit.
I would think the cost of a professional hit on the CEO of one of the largest corporations in the US would be astronomical.
But very well planned, wouldn't be surprised to learn the attacker got professional training with the intention of using it for this purpose.
Funny. I had always heard about how some hitmen preferred revolvers (.22 in particular) as they don't leave brass laying about. Recently, I came across a widow selling off her dead husband's guns, - almost all .22 caliber. One caught my eye along with the cheap price. It is a S&W Model 351, 7 round AirLite revolver designed to shoot .22WMR ammo. She said that if I bought it, she would give all of the ammo she had for it.Im with you, a professional would have also eliminated ammo that would cause multiple malfunctions. This person didnt test the ammo through the supressed handgun before the attack.
However, most other actions the shooter took shows this was well thought out to avoid being caught.
What is a slide lock device? To minimize the sound of a slide cycling? Seems insignificant compared the sound of the actual gunshot. As for Shot Spotter, he didn't stick around long enough for any cops to show up before he fled into the alley and then pedaled off into the wind.FBI dude on Fox this morning said he had a slide lock device to limit noise.
Trying to beat ShotSpotter, which only works 13% of the time anyway and is a total waste of resources.
