Kieran Lalor reports that the 2018 State Operations Budget (A. 9500) contains $3.2 million for unSAFE Act funding, specifically to be used for the Pistol Permit Recertification Database and related police operations. Lalor reports that the prior unSafe Act funding of $80 million inside the Capitol Projects budget (that was supposed to be used for the ammo database) has been spent elsewhere.
