Update on amendment process

Heads up to those in Westchester, looking to amend / add a firearm. In just under 2 months, I received my new license below, which I thought was pretty fast considering.
I'm psyched to carry this, instead of my 365 Micro, it's so thin and light in comparison.

So, I went up to Quattro's today in Pleasant Valley, to pick her up. It was a convenient trip, since I had a 1pm @ Orvis Sandanona, for a round of sporting clays. Beautiful day and all smiles in the morning, instead of the scowl on my face, going to work every morning during the week.
In our broken, rotten system, where the innocent and law abiding are harassed and the criminals pampered, I was delayed and couldn't pick it up
I had no issue picking up my Sig @ Artemis (formerly Blueline) in Elmsford, but that was obviously assigned to a different Troop than today upstate.
I'm also always delayed a day, when I buy ammo, even for sporting clays.
Whichever rotten trooper reviewed it, just sat on it! If I have a dam court ordered voucher to pick it up, let me fn have it!!!!!! However, animals can go beat up cops in Times Sq on camera, and be released same day from jail!!!!!!!
These liberal bastards, just love to throw hurdle after hurdle at us good folk, but we have to be persistent and keep giving them the finger.
Was so pissed, that I Initially shot like shit, till I lit up a stogie, then I started having consecutive 6 - 9 hit stations. I hope it's cleared for tomorrow, in which, I now have to drive another hour upstate to get it. SMH

The NYSP are delaying approvals intentionally to discourage you. Just buy out of state, if you can and bring it back home.

Great news. But why did you have to wait 2 months for the update and to pick up your pistol? I live in Madison County. Is this a county-by-county rule? I haven't purchased any new pistols in just over a year. I can get the update and pistol here in Madison County within 2 -3 days. Maybe the same day if the sheriff's office isn't busy.

Yes, there are county-by-county rules regarding updates and pistol pickups.

For example:
Orleans County is one of the Counties that offer "pre-purchase" coupons. With this coupon I can go to a gun store, buy a pistol, and bring it home that moment and THEN go to the PP office and update my permit.

Some Counties will update almost immediately, others have to drag their feet.

For example:
Orleans County is one of the Counties that offer "pre-purchase" coupons. With this coupon I can go to a gun store, buy a pistol, and bring it home that moment and THEN go to the PP office and update my permit.

In Westchester, you have to submit the license amendment paperwork, then wait for the licensing dept to send it over to a judge for approval. Once the judge get it, it then typically sits on their desks for a while, till they sign off on it and then mail you a voucher, to pick it up. I picked it up yesterday morning, I am always delayed one day for ammo or whatever it may be.

NY and county governments are a criminal enterprise hell bent on supressing constitutional rights. 2 friggin months? I walk in and walk out in Erie County in one day. I can buy a handgun at 10 am and be on the range at 3 pm if I hustle my ass. Try paying your property taxes two months late, the bastards would lose their shit.

Madison County is no different. And the clerk's office where all of the handling of permits and everything to do with registering a pistol, transfers, etc, they all love Trump and despise Poopy Pants, China Joe.

Can't wait to see how long it'll take.

In a few weeks, my FFL will probably call me and say, "So? When are you gonna get your pistol out of my safe?"
