It's not bolt action, it's the BRN-180 upper. It allowed me to not need the Remington 1100 style recoil system so I could use the the Magpul 590 stock.

With all the bullshit laws, Im totally lost on this one. I thought a BRN-180 upper is a semi, designed with internal springs to eliminate the buffer tube. I don't get it, but then I don't have to. It is a really nice set up!!!!

It's the reciprociting charge handle, it's not dangerous.

There's no forward grip, it's a hand stop which is perfectly legal.
