Oh, I didnt mean to imply it was anywhere near as good as Bklyn pizza.I grew up in Bklyn and moved to Staten Island, which has a huge Italian population. You would think that good pizza would be everywhere in S.I., not at all.In the 20 yrs I lived there I only found 2 pizza joints that could compete with my old neighborhood. To be fair though, just cause it doesn’t suck as bad as ketchup, Kraft singles, and a roll as hard as cement, doesn’t mean it’s still close to Brooklyn pizza. Haha But I’m glad they’re making strides in the right direction lol
I grew up in Brooklyn too, it’s pretty hard to compete or even beat real BK pizza. Not only does it taste better but they’re also like twice the size. Pizza’s never fit in the box correctly…they’re always going up the sides cause they have to cram them in lol.Oh, I didnt mean to imply it was anywhere near as good as Bklyn pizza.I grew up in Bklyn and moved to Staten Island, which has a huge Italian population. You would think that good pizza would be everywhere in S.I., not at all.In the 20 yrs I lived there I only found 2 pizza joints that could compete with my old neighborhood.
