So far it looks like the majority of the arguments revolve around 1791, when the 2nd was ratified.
At that time "full auto" may not have existed but they did have crank guns.
Now THIS tradition would date back to 1776.
I wonder how much more authoritarianism is needed for the people to remember.

If it was just for the purpose of registering something, the easiest solution is to start drilling that 3rd hole in a couple AR receivers you already have.
The cheapest to do it in bulk is to start stamping out lightning links or drop in auto sears.
Of course, if the machinegun ban falls, it's going to take the rest of the NFA with it pretty quick.
So maybe some suppressors and SBRs would be in order too.

Got ya. Really the only difference is the frame is aluminum and the slide is more scalloped out. Feels like shooting any old regular desert eagle.

Yes to a certain extent, however 50AE feels like 50AE regardless of which desert eagle you shoot it out of. Kind of like shooting a G43X and a G48. Yes the G48 has softer recoil but only marginally so.
