Only because China locked down so much. The stupid new press secretary is praising Biden for this and the article headlines literally says because of China’s lockdown. Can it get any worse?

Same here. I hate paywall, but you get the point and it’s what I found. I couldn’t even see any of the article either.
I just found it hilarious they were celebrating it and the fact that China has to shutdown for months for us to outpace them.

China's "zero covid" policy is not too different than Cuomo's Jurassic Park pile of dino crap flatten the curve.
In China, the Communist Officials can only report good things and success that the lockdown is working.
In NY the Communist Officials can only report increases in things like "positivity rates" and Hospittialization of people that test positive. Both accomplish the same thing. Continued lockdowns and control.
