I just picked up my M1 from getting rebarreled. And I just want to say that the fine people at Van Tassels did an amazing job taking care of my beloved Garand. It was well worth the 2 hour drive (each way) and the 2 months I was without my M1.
For anyone in the Utica/Syracuse area, you wont find a better smith around.

I'll probably post a range report with the new barrel. Really excited to see how she groups!
