This is an example of why it could be risky to carry where your permit doesnt cover you.
Say you carried while going into NYC for work, and some random, terrible, NYC driver smashes into you and renders you unconscious. Ambulance takes you to the hospital and informs NYPD you are carrying. Then you are screwed!

This is what worries me about folks that got current NYS restricted pistol permits, now think they can carry without restrictions just yet.
Been telling people, I'm no lawyer, but I certainly wouldn't recommend it.

Those concerns are justified, but everyone will make their own decisions. Carrying outside of restrictio s (which are now established as unconstitutional) is one thing, but carrying outside of a jurisdiction is another in my opinion. I wouldnt be so concerned about carrying anywhere in NYS except NYC, personally.
