Steel-Cased AR Trigger (For Steel Case Ammo) - Velocity Triggers

Anybody have any triggers from Velocity that can comment?

I'm considering one of these for a Grendel setup that I will shoot Wolf steel cased through occasionally and wanted to limit any issues because of it.
The current trigger is standard and marginally better than some other AR triggers I've fingered but I'm still not a fan of it.

I dont see you having any problem when it comes to using any of the triggers with steel ammo but this is just me not knowing what problems you may have. I have shot steel cased wolf ammo with at least 5 different triggers without a problem. 2 RRA, 2 different Geissele, a Timney and a Mil Spec.

Sounds like a gimmick to me. I’ve never had light strikes on any steel cased ammo before.

Hmm...Maybe I'm overthinking this.

They do have a 3lb trigger as well (no mention of steel cased ammo) that IMO would be almost ideal for long range varminting but maybe I'm wrong.
The 4lb to me seems a little heavy for varmint work.

I personally think 3 is to high for a varmint trigger single stage. Unless its a combined 3 on a 2 stage trigger. I like 2 stage triggers. My SSA-e triggers are 1st stage 2-2.5 and second stage 1-1.3,,,,so 4lb would be a NO buy option for me on a 1 or 2 stage trigger

Researching the CMC 2.5lb now as well. Might as well confuse the matter.

It's either going to be the velocity 3lb, or ra-140 3.5lb on my latest build.

I have the Velocity 3lb trigger in one of my Grendels. I like it. I've never had a problem with it when shooting steel cased ammo. I also have a Rise Armament 140 3.5# in another Grendel. Between the two, I prefer the Velocity. I'm waiting for Orange County to get around to amend my permit for my Grendel pistol. That will have a Larue MBT. Just on dry firing it, I really like it.
