Venison Liver?

No liver for me. I've always hated it. You've gotta take a big ol' bite out of the heart while its still hot in the woods though

I've never brought it out to cook but I need to give it a try. I usually end up exploding it though.

having venison heart for dinner tonight. this is my second time eating heart and really enjoyed it the first time i prepared it. i will admit mentally it seemed slightly strange to be eating heart and felt unnatural but taste erased that thought quick enough. i do a quick fry in bacon grease accompanied with mushroom, onions and a little garlic, slat/pepper. I have heard great things regarding pickled heart and hope to try that for the next one.
