That’s false. You absolutely can have new open bolt guns. They just can’t be easily and readily convertible to full auto. Since there is very little market demand for new open bolt designs, and most older open bolt designs are easily and readily convertible, that is why you don’t see really any new ones.

The thing is, no gun is truly banned. You just need to be rich enough and have the right licensing or permits in order to have it. There are citizens in NYS that own nfa registered machine guns. My FFL has 2 MP5’s and 2 UMP 40’s as well as suppressed B&T’s. He simply got his FFL and SOT and now he has them to shoot all he wants.

Yes, what is banned is ownership by anyone below "upper middle class".

The entire NFA is a poll tax, blatantly enacted for the same purpose (to keep the poor from owning guns).

Why nobody has challenged it on those grounds I have no idea.

Get our rights back incrementally. Claim any fee or tax to own a gun is the equivalent to a tax on voter registration. Force them to reduce all fees to $0.
