Virginians Flock To Gun Stores After Election Day Losses
Virginia Governor Ralph Northam may be vowing to pass gun bans and more when lawmakers return to Richmond for the 2020 session in a few weeks, but in the meantime he’s going to end up selling a lot of guns across the state. On today’s Bearing Arms’ Cam & Co., gun shop owner Scott Ayers from Farmville Sporting Goods joins me to talk about how gun owners are already reacting to the loss of the legislature and the upcoming onslaught of gun control bills. From AR-15’s to suppressors, residents are buying up pretty much everything Northam is hoping to ban.


That’s not good news for the governor when it comes to predicting how many Virginians will comply with his proposed gun and magazine bans. I doubt the men and women visiting Farmville Sporting Goods, for instance, are buying 20-round magazines because they only want to use them for a few months. It looks to me like many Virginians are making a decision not to comply with law that would strip them of their lawfully owned arms.

I do agree with this but sometimes it doesn't matter. I'm too lazy to look up the makeup of Virginia but in our shithole state it wouldn't matter if every person north of Westchester voted against our idiot. He'd still be voted in by the liberals in NYC because they outnumber us.

A lot of folks are realizing that voting no longer matters. The bullet box may end up deciding their futures. As for 2020, there's no way to vote ourselves out of this mess.

It runs so much deeper than just voting, though. Did they put up a fight ? By most accounts, No. Were the gun owners of Virginia pounding the pavement going door to door in order to dispell the myths peddled by the anti's ? No, not from what I can tell. Did they go broke buying radio and television advertising to inform the masses ? I don't think so. They sat on their fat asses, and now they have to deal with what we all know is on the agenda.

As for here in PRNY, gun owners outnumber NYC voters. Our problem is the same as everywhere else. APATHY. We refuse to get off our ass to do anything. Then we sit back and listen to everyone piss and moan about the outcome.

It's time that REAL MEN took this country back from the elite, and then bitch-slapped all the whiny little snowflakes and tell them to grow up.

In a sick strategic way, I say good.

The more states that suffer with us the better.

It will either get meaningful cases to SCOTUS to reverse this crap once and for all,

Or,

It will make people choose sides.


Either one of those above outcomes would be preferable to a gradual and incremental erosion of our rights.

Totally agree. Gun owner, pro-freedom citizen and the like kept their heads in the sand. With their rear-ends got exposed. Now they will be getting it in the rear-end now that the gun-grabber are in control. New York gun laws coming to Virginia.
