I don't usually pay attention to candidates this early in the game, but caught the Tucker episode and was hooked. Vivek has quite the pedigree of education and success but also obviously is very intelligent, well read, charismatic, patriotic, well spoken and not afraid to threaten to stir the mud up. In an interview at least, he is not narcissistic DB or socially awkward like other successful m/billionaires like say Musk. I could see myself drinking a beer with him at a BBQ and discussing various topics. These are a few of many points he has going for him.
I looked over his platform and am having a hard time finding something I disagree with. He may call himself a republican but I would venture to say he's really a libertarian. Everyone knows that's a dead end ticket, so best to run with the R anyway. This is a slippery slope. He's playing both sides on many issues, not because I think hes indecisive but because I think its just not important to him.
His biggest struggle I will think is that the people he is chasing for votes going to be resistant to a 2nd generation non-euro American with a ethnic name. It worked for Obama but that was the other side of the coin. If this guy was paste colored and named Brian Anderson he would walk away with it.

We have a lot of bright folks here with strong beliefs and a lot of candidates right now telling us what we already know. It may feel good to be validated but it's not really what we need right now. In a sense many of these people are just riding Trump's coat tails and IMO no one is doing that better than Vivek. But just being a political outsider and the same talking points doesn't make him Trump 2.0

I think one of the things folks like about Vivek is that he basically says the same things as Trump, but he says them the way they wish Trump would say them. He is that articulate.
Just look at the way he took apart the "gotcha" game played by Chuck Todd.
I absolutely despise Todd, but I also don't like that Vivek gave him enough ammo to even attempt to play the game. No doubt he won, but is it just because he's such a good talker? What really is the truth here? I guess I'll have to buy his book and find out for myself.

There is the possibility that he's flip-flopping and I just don't think anything changes with someone not committed to uncovering the election fraud and interference that has taken place if he doesn't believe it. It just won't be their priority. (I still remember watching the election results thinking WTF when those ballot dumps started happening). I mean, has anyone else heard him say he'll investigate anything? COVID? Bidens? 2020? Ukraine? Maybe he did but I don't recall it.
