"Waiving" your Right does not actually eliminate your Right.
you still have your Rights.

All you are saying is that you will not purchase a firearm. This is rescindable at any time, with no warning.
This isn't even a contract between you and your (corrupt) government since you have not received any compensation.
It is also ripe for abuse by this (corrupt) government.

It wouldn't last 5 seconds in any actual unbiased court of law.

And, since only the NYS Gestapo keep records on who has been brow-beaten into making this declaration, you are still able to go to another State and purchase a firearm. NICS is not involved.
