You’re right, guns shouldn’t be political.You're right we're not supposed to, but I hear some of the social studies teachers constantly ragging on the second amendment, so I assume it's fair game. Point, counterpoint I reason. I never bring up anything about guns in class, but if I overhear something, I'll comment and there will be no question as to where I stand on the issue. And really, guns aren't and shouldn't be a political issue. Popular culture has simply perverted the discussion to make it inherently political.
