Tell the kid when asked these sorts of questions to reply "I have been instructed to refer any questions on this matter to my attorney" and then hand the adult the lawyers card.

I already told my kids not to even bring up the thanksgiving gathering wrong to anyone. It is honestly none of their business what I do or don’t do at HOME unless it’s abuse. Is this where they will take this? Child abuse? Oh this could get interesting fast.
