I fabricated the adapter. You might be able to see it in the picture but its a piece of 1-1/2" inch sheet steel. I cut a piece off a 3 foot long piece from loews, reduced the size to the proper size on the back of the receiver and then drilled and slotted it to fit the pig nose adapter from one of the AK arm braces. Then blued it. I had the pig nose adapter left over from the gulag days. Then I just put a on kak pistol buffer tube and the blade. The sights on the receiver are really low so I just gotta offset the angle to match your wirestock angle. It will then be really sturdy shooting it with the blade resting on my "forearm".

I was just going to say, there's no way you're getting a site picture with that straight buffer tube without an optic on top. Made the same mistake myself with my m11, except mine is folding.

It wasn't exactly a mistake. I knew this going in by putting the pistol right next to one of my ARs. I just wanted to get the adapter plate fabricated as proof of concept and work off of that. I think I'll just weld an additional plate to the existing one to form a V. I like to take a while to think these things through though so I don't work harder than I have to

Not enough surface area on the stock eh? I wonder if you could rig something up to just put on the end of it. Then you don't have to fabricate anything like I did. You'd be giving up the folding functionality though. But until you get your tank you don't really need to be able to fold it. Or do you need more length?

I have a trust and already have silencers and sbrs on it. I did these when I could simply go online, fill out the eforms and pay the $200. It really pissed me off when they changed it all and I said I wouldn't do anymore. But now I want some stuff and may be willing to do the legwork. IDK.
In other news I modified the adapter for the vz61. It only took a very small cant and now it's very comfortable with a perfect sight picture.
