Back in the 1970's I bought a model 29 , 8-3/8 44mag in the presentation box plus a RCBS reloading kit, but floated a check and then went to the bank to see a family friend (bank manager) for a loan. He said bring it in (the pistol) so he could look at it. Buddy at work stopped at Walmart last night to pick up a box. It's still under $20/box for 350 legend. He stops every day after work since you can only buy 1 box. The girl behind the counter said they weren't allowed to sell it. She said something about the riots in Philly. Makes sense since someone would buy ammo here and drive 6 hours to use it during a riot - especially a 350 legend since everyone's got one of those.

Vestal had 3 boxes of 12ga trap loads on the shelf, $36/box of 100. They were $22 a week and a half ago.
