Some guns just don't need any 'after-market' support.

Besides, holsters shouldn't be considered aftermarket support. Who makes a holster for their oun handguns, besides that god awful POS that Glock has or had?
Yeah maybe, I don't see it that way because it's not part of the gun but a way to carry it.No that would still be considered aftermarket support.
Springfield ships their imported XD line of guns with a matching POS fobus holster.
But yes holsters should be considered aftermarket support. It's a product that you buy after the initial purchase.
And yes many people will make a decision on what carry gun they are going to buy based on if they can get holsters for that gun, how easy to get, and options.
Sorry but if an actual "glock killer" came out today that worked 100% of the time with a magical grip that held 20+1 but the same size as a G19 and a perfect trigger but the only holster option out there was an uncle mikes.. nope hard pass wont buy it

At least Springfield has the Fobus, have you seen the POS that Glock ships? LMAO I had a Fobus for my Glock and it actually wasn't too bad. Nowhere near my Safariland ALS I use now though. Is there a modern pistol that you can not get a really nice holster for? That would be news to me. There are so many holster manufacturers that make really nice stuff, pretty much what's your flavor. Someone is always making them for the newest models. I even had a really nice leather Galco for my POS Charter Arms Bulldog Pug. 44 Spc snubby.
They used to, I still have the POS mag carrier but gave away the holster. A first time DIY'ers attempt at kydex would have been better than the flimsy thing that came with my Glock. Both the holster and mag carrier were marked with Glocks markings and patents etc. I'll have to see if I can dig out the mag carrier. My G19 was a NYPD trade in, Gen1.Glock doesnt ship with anything

I assumed it shipped with it seems NYPD never would have used such a holster and mag carrier, it was in the case that Glock ships their guns in along with the usual stuff when you buy a new gun. The only owner before me was NYPD. Maybe one of the guys had it and just stuck the G19 in it then in the case?Yea I know exactly what you are talking about. Glock makes and sells it, they still do, that doesnt mean they ever shipped with them.
Glock also makes a knife and a light laser. Again doesnt mean they ship with them

If it was the cop shop, I know the FLL that bought it to resell. He sold it to me as he got it, even with the awful NY cop trigger. I actually didn't know about the triggers until I was bitching about my accuracy to a town Constable I worked close with. He was a Glock armorer and instantly knew what the issue was when I told him where it came from. Told me to stop up to his office and he took care of it right there. Remarkable difference!Shop owner could have also thrown it in

I think you're being generous lol Trash doesn't begin to describe themYea man those NY1 and NY2 triggers are absolute trash.
There is no need for a 12lb trigger in a gun like that

I still have that stupid orange piece in my gun cabinet. I don't know why I saved it all these years but I did. Maybe as a reminder if I ever buy another used Glock and it shoots like shit to look for one of them lol. They are a bad idea.
