WTB (Wanted to borrow) Hand gun, rear sight tool.

In the buffalo area, does anyone have a rear sight, push tool that I can borrow this weekend. A couple guys at work want to upgrade their sights and I cannot find mine.

Our guy is out long term.

I do not want to use a hammer and a punch.

If so, I would like to use your push tool this weekend.

FYI #1 All sights tools are not universal. The quirk is weather the slide has a de-cocker/safety. Have to make sure those appendages clear the sight clamp assembly.

FYI #2 There is no rear sight adjustment possible on a S&W Shield. There may be other handguns out there where the rear sight is fixed and part of the assembly striker assembly. (I almost screwed up big time on that one.)

I can get a tool or two next week late when my borrow guy gets back in town. Touch bases if nothing pops up today.

I use a wood dowel and shape the end like a regular head screwdriver only blunt. Works great for Glocks

Yep, just knock the sights off and put a bb on the front......its worked for my shotgun for decades!!
