Don't you see the hypocrisy on wanting a national anthem specifically for and to target a demographic based on their skin color? Isn't that in itself racist?
Should we have a white anthem? An Asian American anthem? An Irish american anthem? Where does it end?
The american national anthem is for EVERYONE, all skin colors, all religions, all ethnic ancestry. All american citizens. It's a unifying anthem for everyone. An anthem isn't supposed to separate people based on skin color. Come on.

You have it backward. Most white people didn't give a shit until certain elements of the media decided to violate long standing custom by giving "Black" capitalization and continuing to not capitalize "white."
You cannot make society atone for past sins by asking that society repeat those sins.
The capitalization is not instigated by The Media in many circles. Do you have any other ideas about why some people choose to capitalize Black?
