Like the title says, Washington State Senate passed (28-20) a bill limiting sales of magazines that hold more than 10 rounds.

If that wording is correct, they really screwed that one up. Possession is ok, so buying them from out of state is also ok.

That’s what it says. It also says you can’t distribute them. Seems like you can buy them out of state and bring them back though. Weird law.

Isn't a weird law... It's just another pile of bullshit law that politicians pass to lend the appearance they're doing something, when they're not. They're so uneducated on the subject they pass ineffectual laws that have very little practicality or basis on actual real fact or function! Like here... No sales, but possession is ok, etc. So basically garbage law (but good for firearm ownership of course) LMFAO!

It’s weird in the sense that it appears to me you can still possess them and buy them out of state with the intention of bribing them back to WA. What’s the legal definition of distribute? Can you give me $20 and I go to Idaho buy you and me mags and give them to you when I return?
I agree with your statement it’s just weird how it was written up and that’s it’s not an outright ban. Baby steps though. The outright ban will come soon enough.

I will just throw my 2 cents...I HATE the term High Capacity...they are standard capacity if that was what the guns was made for...yes if a mfg makes one that holds more than the original maker designed it for then ok HIGH capacity but thats an aftermarket part so to speak..whatever..they get there set of terms we got the proper set of terms....ours just arent scary enough.

It’s the term that people get stuck on. Reminder terms can change in a matter of a bill that people want passed.
