Decent people are blackmail proof by the simple expedient of not having any secrets so damning they could be blackmailed with them.

I'm not saying good people may not have something embarrassing they want to conceal, or that they aren't entitled to privacy. What I am saying is that if someone tried to blackmail me, I'd just call their bluff, and then call the police.
