I thought TN was pretty conservative away from say Memphis/nashville?

More like brain washed. And I believe it's mostly downstate NY. I don't know much about upstate. The dense population of LI and NYC dictates the BS that goes on.
Urban, sub-urban and country life are all different with different needs. I can understand gun restriction in the cities. But in the county you need guns for self defense. The problem is cities are imposing their wants and needs on whole states.

No saying total ban like in D.C.. Just saying let snowflake city dwellers rely on 911 for their safety. And leave country folks be.
