yeppers .. im pretty sure the warrant they got for the property owner .. the judge said the boxes were not included but they took them anyways
and ohhh since we took them now we have to inventory the contents .. ohhh lookie here cash n gold .. must be crime related ..
now you have to prove what was in the box was not proceeds from a crime ..

Even though the search warrant explicitly denied them the authority to do that.

What's next, they get a search warrant for some house, and then just search every house in the neighborhood, "just in case" ?

I’m thinking more a search warrant for a criminals room in a divided house. Say my son gets arrested for drugs, they normally have no right to search places he doesn’t have access to such as my locked bedroom and my locked gun and tool cases. This indicates they will. I have no problems search anything you want I’m legal.

Legal or not, this case seems to indicate that they will confiscate what they find regardless and then you’ll have a court battle on your hands to recover your belongings. Nice guns you have, it’d be a shame if they went missing during said court proceedings, and so on.

so you live in a housing project .. 100 apartments .. apt 5 is growing weed .. the FBI and DEA get a warrant and raids all 100 apartments because
there all connected in some fashion and they take what ever they want to ..
